SG style Electric Guitar Kit

Guitar Kits can now be customised to suit your needs - choose your custom changes above. If no custom changes are selected, the standard hardware will be supplied, as underlined.

Body and Neck:

- 2pc Mahogany Body (some stock may be 1pc), routed for 2 humbuckers, controls cavity in rear, chamfered edges.

- Mahogany Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard (set neck). 22 Frets, Trapezoid block inlays, position markers, ivory colour fingerboard binding. Neck also features angled headstock and black headstock veener.

Tuners:

- Vintage SD90 style tuners with green tombstone button - Chrome finish.

- As above in gold finish also available - or upgrade to another SD90 style from Wilkinson or Kluson.

- Other 3-left, 3-right tuners may be substituted also if you prefer a different style - please enquire.

NB Please note that headstock holes may need to be enlarged slightly to suit the tuner options selected.

Electronics:

- Alpha pots (or equivalent), mono output jack, 3-way switch, poly capacitor.

- DIY Upgraded electronics includes 4 x CTS Pots, Switchcraft mono output jack, Orange Drop Capacitors, and Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch.

Quality Components and wiring diagram provided - you provide the soldering and assembly. Great value option for top quality electronics.

- Emerson pre-wired assembly with Paper in Oil capacitors:

• • CTS 500K Split shaft pots
  • Switchcraft Jack
  • Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch
  • (2) Russian K42 NOS Paper-in-Oil .022µF capacitors
  • (2) Volume Mods (resistor/cap network retains clarity as you turn down, no more mud!)
  • Vintage cloth covered and shielded wiring

Plastics:

- Pickup Mounting Rings, Toggle Switch Cover available in Ivory or Black

Pickguard and rear coverplate only available in black.

Knobs:

- Various choices of Volume and Tone Knob style and colour. Black Speed Knobs supplied as standard.

Pickups:

- 2 x Wilkinson humbucker pickups in Chrome or Gold. (pickup mounting ring cover colour is chosen as part of the 'Plastics' colour choice)

or 2 x zebra or 2 x Black Alnico humbucker pickups.

Hardware:

- Screws, End Pins available in Chrome, Black or Gold

Bridge and Tailpiece:

- Tune-o-matic style bridge and stop tailpiece available in Chrome, Black or Gold

Includes solid post mounting on both bridge and tailpiece.

Strings:

- D'Addario 10-46

- Gibson Vintage Reissue 09-42 Nickel

- Elixir 12-52

Body and neck has a sealer coat applied, additional sealer may be required depending on your chosen finish. Conversely, light sanding is required to remove initial sealer if staining is desired.

Quality mahogany timber will suit clear, stained or solid colour finishes.
