Available in handy Aerosol cans or 250ml bottles, these are new specially formulated neck tints in semi-transparent nitrocellulose lacquer.

A selection of nitro lacquer tints for finishing guitar necks, specifically intended for maple necks. The lightly tinted lacquers – Amber and Tobacco - are for giving an instant aged effect to maple guitar necks, to take away the stark whiteness of new maple and give it a bit of colour.

Neck Tint Amber is a yellow-amber colour akin to newly made vintage-style necks.

Neck Tint Tobacco is a light brown colour which is closer to actual aged old lacquer which has darkened over the years.

Clear nitrocellulose lacquer can be used over the tinted lacquers, to give a protective top coat that can be polished to a high gloss.

Nitrocellulose lacquer cannot be shipped by air – it is currently delivered by road transport. Always spray in a well ventilated area, keep away from children, pregnant women and animals, and always wear suitable safety equipment including gloves and filtered facemask.
